The next-generation perfected wedge has been released.

It is the Opus (OPUS) series from Callaway Golf. This product was born after the longest and most extensive testing with tour players. It features a relatively high toe and leading edge radius, and a stable hosel design. It is the best wedge ever, guaranteeing unparalleled performance. Tour players have already proven its excellence by using it. Xander Schauffele (USA), ranked 2nd in the world, won two major tournaments this year?the PGA Championship and The Open?and Saso Yuka (Japan), the US Women’s Open champion, also achieved outstanding results with the Opus wedge.

The Opus series is available in two lines: Opus and Opus Platinum. It features a new technology called ‘Spin Gen Face Technology™.’ This combines three key elements: a denser groove arrangement, groove-in-groove design, and a blast-finished face surface. It delivers tour-level exceptional spin control and the best hitting feel.

The Opus Platinum wedge head uses the MIM (Metal Injection Molding) process, which is typically used to produce consistent parts with zero tolerance in precision instruments. There is almost no deviation in specifications such as head weight and loft. This elevates the wedge’s level of sophistication and precision. Additionally, two types of metal powders are blended in an optimal combination. This is the driving force behind consistent hitting feel and spin. Tungsten material is placed on the top line of the Opus Platinum wedge, raising the head’s center of gravity to realize a premium wedge that delivers excellent low-trajectory, high-spin short game control shots.

The Korea Institute of Sports Industry Technology (KIGOS) verified the performance of the Opus series. It was found that there is little difference in trajectory and spin on both dry and wet grass.
