The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahak Yeongeum) announced on the 25th that it received the 2024 Best HRD certification for public sector human resource development, organized by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training, and was awarded the certificate the day before.
Best HRD is a certification system conducted every three years by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Personnel Management, which sets exemplary standards for human resource development and management and grants certification to outstanding organizations that achieve these standards.
In this certification evaluation, the following were reviewed through document and on-site assessments: ▲ establishment of personnel management systems ▲ personnel systems including recruitment, personnel evaluation, placement, and promotion ▲ operation of competency development systems in the human resource management (HRM) sector ▲ talent development plans ▲ training participation and investment in the human resource development (HRD) sector ▲ and the degree of linkage between HRM and HRD.

Since first being certified as an outstanding public sector human resource development organization in 2015, Sahak Yeongeum has consecutively obtained certification four times, including in 2018, 2021, and this year. This government certification as an outstanding public sector human resource development organization is valid for the next three years. The organization can use the Best HRD certification mark (logo) for three years and receive benefits such as exemption from regular labor inspections by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Song Hajung, Director of Sahak Yeongeum, stated, “Building on the foundation of receiving the Best HRD certification for the public sector four consecutive times, we will continue to devote efforts to human resource management and development and actively nurture the talent necessary to strengthen the expertise of Sahak Yeongeum.”
