Asan Nanum Foundation to Host 'Jeong Ju-Young Startup Competition Demo Day 2024' in November

Held at COEX Auditorium on November 7... Total Prize Money 240 Million Won

Asan Nanum Foundation announced on the 25th that the demo day for the ‘Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition’ will be held on November 7th at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul.

This year marks the 13th Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition, where startups from various fields such as healthcare, mobility, content, and education were selected after overcoming a high competition rate of 47 to 1. Twenty prospective startup teams in the ‘Challenge Track’ and ten early-stage startups in the ‘Growth Track’ went through about six months of business execution and participated in an accelerating program. Asan Nanum Foundation provided office space, seed money, expert consulting, and mentoring, and will conduct judging in October to finally select 12 teams to advance to the demo day finals.

The 13th demo day event will begin with a keynote speech by Seo Jung-jin, Chairman of Celltrion, followed by pitching sessions from a total of 12 teams. Six teams from each of the ‘Challenge Track’ and ‘Growth Track’ will take the stage to present for business investment attraction and promotion, competing against each other. The winning teams will receive a total prize of 240 million KRW.
