Taebaek-si to Host 'Trio con Spirito' Concert on October 18

At Taebaek Culture and Arts Center... October Special Performance 'The House Concert'
First Korean Ensemble to Receive Highest Degree from German National Music University

Taebaek City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Lee Sang-ho) will hold the third installment of The House Concert, "Trio con Spirito," as the October planned performance at Taebaek Culture and Arts Center's Small Theater on October 18th at 7 PM.

This performance is part of the "2024 Regional Customized Small and Medium-sized Content Distribution Project" conducted by the Arts Management Support Center, a foundation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and is the third of a total of four performances.


The third performance, "Trio con Spirito," is a team formed in 2008 consisting of piano, cello, and violin, and is the first Korean ensemble to receive the highest degree from the Stuttgart State University of Music and Performing Arts. Since its formation, the group has won awards and been invited to perform at various competitions and chamber music festivals, including the Netherlands International Chamber Music Competition and the Greece International Chamber Music Competition.


This performance is suitable for elementary school students and older. Admission is 10,000 KRW regardless of seat classification, and up to four tickets can be reserved per person. Culture Love members can purchase tickets at a discounted price of 7,000 KRW starting from 9 AM on October 7th at the Taebaek Culture and Arts Center office. The general public can make reservations from 10 AM on October 8th via Interpark (search for "Taebaek" after logging in) or purchase tickets on-site.


The fourth performance of The House Concert will be held on November 8th, featuring a bandoneon and jazz classical performance by the "Yeonharu Band."


Meanwhile, Taebaek Culture and Arts Center pursues culture in daily life and daily life in culture together with citizens, and is conducting excellent performance programs in various genres such as musicals, plays, dance, and classical music to establish a performance culture.
