Seongdong-gu to Host the 7th Youth Festival

Festival Uniting Youth and Local Residents at Seongsu-dong Understand Avenue on September 27 at 2 PM
Comprehensive Consultations, Community Booths, and Youth Busking Performances on Topics Like Employment, Startups, Housing, and Mental Health

Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) will hold the "7th Seongdong-gu Youth Festival" on September 27th from 2 PM to 8 PM at Understand Avenue (Wangsimni-ro 63) located in Seongsu-dong to commemorate Youth Week.

Now in its 7th year, the Seongdong-gu Youth Festival is planned under the theme "Shout-out to Youth" together with local youth.

This event is prepared as a gathering for all local residents to support and encourage each other without losing hope despite difficult circumstances.

This festival will feature services focused on the main interests of youth throughout their life cycle, including ▲prevention of jeonse fraud and consultation on youth public rental housing ▲depression self-screening tests ▲comprehensive counseling on youth employment and entrepreneurship, as well as community booths.

Additionally, local businesses and merchants will participate, adding fun to the festival through ▲making your own character (Moroo doll) ▲reading your mind (tarot experience) ▲and a flea market by local small business owners.

As the main event commemorating Youth Day, for the first time in Seongdong-gu, there will be ▲the Seongdong-gu Youth Declaration ▲awards for youth merit ▲youth busking ▲youth club guitar performances ▲and the festival will conclude with a congratulatory performance by indie band 406 Project and singer Lee Jin-ah.

Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, "I hope this festival becomes a place where youth tired of daily life can support and encourage each other's futures," and added, "We will continue to show interest and support so that youth can freely dream, challenge themselves, and enjoy a happy daily life."
