HYBE previously stated in a notice posted on the global fan community Weverse by its subsidiary labels the day before that the 'HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report' site was newly established by integrating the existing email reporting channels into a system.

HYBE's subsidiary labels, including Big Hit Music, Pledis Entertainment, Source Music, Belift Lab, and KOZ Entertainment, have each created legal response channels to deal with malicious commenters.

Regarding the opening of this reporting center, HYBE explained, "The integrated reporting site aims to receive reports from fans about malicious posts that damage artists' reputations and copyright infringement cases, so that we can take quicker action and respond through a systematic procedure."

It added, "For malicious posts and copyright infringement cases, we will continue regular legal responses based on our own real-time monitoring and reports from fans as before," and warned, "Cases involving lawsuits for infringing on artists' rights will be dealt with strictly without leniency under any circumstances, as has been the practice."

Earlier, SM Entertainment also established and operates 'Gwangya 119,' a reporting center for malicious comments, rumors, and other issues to protect its artists.
