Governor Park Wansu of Gyeongnam Province visited the memorial altar of the late Jang Gipyo, head of the New Civilization Policy Research Institute, who was known as the "eternal outsider," on the morning of the 24th to pay his respects.

Before attending the People Power Party's regional livelihood budget policy council held in Seoul that day, Governor Park visited the funeral hall at Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to pay tribute to Director Jang, who passed away after battling gallbladder cancer.
