Hanse Industrial, Acquires US Textile Manufacturer... "Strengthening Activewear Portfolio"

Founded in 1989, Texollini is a leading U.S. textile manufacturer with outstanding capabilities in synthetic fibers, covering fabric production, dyeing, printing, finishing, design, and research and development. Its major clients include global sports brand New Balance, casual brand Champion, outdoor brand Patagonia, and athleisure fashion brand Alo Yoga.

Through this acquisition, Hansae aims to strengthen its synthetic fiber production technology and respond to the nearshoring trend spreading in the Latin American region, which involves locating production facilities in nearby areas with lower labor costs. Texollini’s factory is fully automated, enabling 24-hour operation of all processes from fabric production to dyeing and printing. It produces over 1 million pounds of more than 4,000 types of fabrics monthly and processes 1.2 million yards of fabric dyeing each month.

Additionally, Texollini’s factory is located in Long Beach, California, which offers easy access to major transportation networks including highways, maritime routes, air, and rail, facilitating logistics movement within the U.S.

Hansae plans to leverage Texollini’s synthetic fiber development technology and expertise to expand its product categories and portfolio, including activewear, underwear, and swimwear. In particular, the company aims to enhance profitability by increasing orders through expanding high-value product lines such as activewear.

Kim Ik-hwan, Vice Chairman of Hansae, stated, “Texollini is a company with excellent technology and production capacity, and this acquisition is expected to significantly strengthen Hansae’s global competitiveness. Moving forward, Hansae will continue to invest and innovate to maintain its leading position in the global fashion industry.”

Meanwhile, Hansae is a global ODM company operating 20 subsidiaries and 10 overseas offices in 9 countries worldwide, including the U.S., Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. It produces and supplies apparel for globally renowned brands such as GAP, Target, and Walmart.
