In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 23rd (local time), she received 0.87 points, jumping an impressive 108 spots from 257th place last week. She accumulated ranking points by winning the Daebo House D Open (total prize money 1 billion KRW) on the KLPGA Tour, which concluded last week at Seowon Valley Country Club (par 72) in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. This is her first victory in 63 tournaments since debuting on the regular tour in 2022. The winner's prize money is 180 million KRW.

Moon Jeong-min was last year’s KLPGA Dream Tour money leader. She had one 'Top 10' finish each in the past two years. This year, before winning this tournament, she placed tied 5th in the Doosan Match Play, 6th in the Doosan Construction Weave Championship, and 6th in the BC Card·Hankyung Ladies Cup, entering the top 10 three times. Her strengths include powerful driving distance stemming from her tall stature of 171 cm and solid physique.

Due to recent personal issues, Moon Jeong-min terminated all sponsorship contracts and did not participate in tournaments for a while. After returning, she played in four tournaments but missed the cut in all. She said, "Seeing long hitters like Yoon Ina, Bang Shin-sil, and Hwang Yu-min all winning made me want to win quickly too," adding, "I want to win once more before this season ends."

Nelly Korda and Lilia Vu (both from the United States) maintained their 1st and 2nd places respectively. Lydia Ko (New Zealand), who won last week’s LPGA Tour Kroger Queen City Championship, also held onto 3rd place. Korea had three players in the 'Top 10': Ko Jin-young at 5th, Yang Hee-young at 6th, and Yoo Hae-ran at 9th. Other rankings include Kim Hyo-joo at 19th, Shin Ji-ae at 24th, Lee Ye-won at 34th, Park Ji-young at 37th, Lim Jin-hee at 40th, and Yoon Ina at 43rd.
