34 Diverse Programs on 8 Themes Over 4 Days at Gwanghanruwon and Yocheon Wolgung Plaza
Enjoy the night scenery of Gwanghanru Garden, more beautiful than during the day.
Namwon City, Jeonbuk (Mayor Choi Kyung-sik) announced on the 23rd that the "2024 Namwon Cultural Heritage Travel" will be spectacularly held for four days from October 3 to 6 around Gwanghanru Garden and Yocheon Wolgung Square.
According to the city, this event has been selected for five consecutive years since 2020 in the "National Heritage Agency Our Local National Heritage Utilization Project" contest. To expand citizens' opportunities to enjoy culture, this year’s event is packed with the most experiences, attractions, and food ever.

This night event, under the subtitle "Invitation to the Moon Palace at Gwanghancheongheobu," will offer 34 diverse programs across eight themes (8夜) to enjoy at night around Gwanghanru Garden.
The festival theme "8夜" consists of ▲ Cultural heritage illuminated at night "Night View" (夜景) ▲ Historical stories heard at night "Night History" (夜史) ▲ Performance stories "Night Talk" (夜說) ▲ Streets walked at night "Night Road" (夜路) ▲ Tribute market stories "Night Market" (夜市) ▲ Paintings viewed at night "Night Painting" (夜畵) ▲ Food stories "Night Food" (夜食) ▲ A night at cultural heritage sites "Night Stay" (夜宿).
Advance reservations for some programs are available on the official website. Once the participant quota is filled, early closure may occur. In addition, various programs with on-site registration will provide opportunities for people of all ages to experience and enjoy.
Mayor Choi Kyung-sik of Namwon said, "I hope people stroll through the moon palace Gwanghanru Garden at night during the Namwon Cultural Heritage Travel, feel the special night event unique to Namwon, and return with healing for body and mind." He added, "We look forward to offering diverse and rich opportunities to enjoy culture in Namwon."
