Lebanon: "100 Dead in Israeli Airstrikes... Highest Daily Death Toll"

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on the 23rd (local time) that at least 100 people were killed and more than 400 injured in airstrikes by the Israeli military.

This is the highest number of casualties in a single day since the airstrikes between Israel and Hezbollah began on October 8 last year, the day after the Gaza Strip war broke out.

The Ministry of Health added that among the casualties were children, women, and paramedics.

The Israeli military announced that it struck about 300 Hezbollah facilities in southern and eastern Lebanon through dozens of airstrikes that day.

The Israeli military issued an evacuation order to residents near Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon and warned that more extensive attacks could continue for some time.
