Pocheon-si Holds 2024 Key Resource Verification Day Event

Pocheon City held the 2024 Priority Management Target Resource Confirmation Day event on the 20th at the Pocheon City Hall main conference room.

On the 20th, Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province held the 2024 Key Resource Management Confirmation Day event at the Pocheon City Hall main conference room, the city announced on the 23rd.

The event was attended by over 50 personnel from 36 units, including the 5th Corps, 6th Infantry Division, 8th Mechanized Division, 73rd Infantry Division, and Capital Mechanized Infantry Division.

Attendees established a support posture for rapid mobilization in emergencies by building a civilian-military cooperation system for the successful execution of wartime mobilization tasks, analyzing the 2024 resource survey results, cross-checking fluctuating resources, and verifying the capability of key management companies to perform their duties. They also identified issues and derived improvement measures accordingly.

Jung Nam, Director of Citizen Safety, stated, “With recent consecutive provocations such as North Korea’s trash balloons, military tensions surrounding the Korean Peninsula are higher than ever. We will perfectly designate and manage key resources and establish an organic cooperation system with military units to ensure rapid mobilization in case of emergencies by solidifying our mobilization posture.”
