Joo Gwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is talking with young people at the 'World's Hip Youth Festival' held at the city hall square on the 21st.

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 23rd that it held the 3rd 'Youth Day' celebration with the 'Sesang Hiphan Youth Festival' at the city hall square on the evening of the 21st.

This festival, planned as a 'youth-centered' event created and enjoyed by young people, featured content satisfying all five senses, including performances by Namyangju youth singers and artists, a flea market organized by young entrepreneurs, food trucks, and a meet-quiz zone prepared by youth communities and organizations.

In particular, five teams selected in advance through a public contest as Namyangju's promising stars?△ Son Ji-yu & Lee Tae-yoon (Daekyung University) △ MODN (Wabu-eup) △ Floae (Kyungbok University) △ MaximumQuality (Sudong-myeon) △ J.holy (Jinjeop-eup)?performed on the Youth Star Stage, receiving great acclaim.

Additionally, local companies Binggrae and Cosmos Confectionery sponsored and operated an Instagram promotion zone, local hair salons 'Senne' and 'Drosia' provided interview hairstyling services, and the Youth Mental Health Center conducted a photo booth experience program.

One young participant said, "Seeing young entrepreneurs, youth singers, and youth activists my age living in the same area made me proud of Namyangju, and meeting these active young people motivated me in my ordinary daily life."
