An employee at a community service center received a letter filled with sexually harassing remarks from an elderly person, sparking outrage online.

On the 21st, an anonymous post titled "Grandfather Looking for a Lover" was uploaded on the workplace anonymous community 'Blind' along with a photo. The author, A, who currently works at a community service center, explained, "An elderly complainant silently handed me an envelope, so I thought it was a letter and read it." However, A was horrified after reading the letter. The envelope contained four pages describing sexual acts in detail.

A expressed anger, saying, "I was shocked and stayed still for a moment, then called a nearby staff member to chase him away. I felt sexually harassed." A continued, "The staff next to me asked, 'What do you want?' and he said he was looking for a lover. Why would someone look for a lover at a community service center?" The grandfather, who was chased away by the staff, later returned to the center and asked again, "Can't I find a lover?" In response, A asked for the letter and took a photo of it, which was then shared.

The photo of the letter revealed content such as, "Call me. Then ○○ will come out to the yard. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, no one comes and I am alone. I have a younger sibling living in Incheon, but the sibling only comes on days other than Saturday and Sunday once every two months. If you become ○○'s lover," along with obscene language. A said, "When I tried to report the grandfather, the team leaders stopped me. They said he is a well-known mental patient," and asked for advice, adding, "What is the right thing to do? I think I can report it, but it seems pointless."

Netizens expressed outrage at A's story. Comments included, "Punish him harshly regardless of mental illness," "I hope mental illness is not used as a shield," "This seems like a bitter reality born from excessive welfare," "Seeing malicious complainants makes me have really bad thoughts. The stress is indescribable," "Protect employees from complainants," "I don't understand the team leader who stopped the report," and "Just reading this gives me PTSD."
