Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that it has launched a dedicated website 100 days ahead of the special city status inauguration next year.
The newly launched website can be accessed through a D-day popup on Hwaseong City's main homepage. The dedicated website contains information about the concept of the special city status, the changes involved, and the promotion process, as well as answers to frequently asked questions from citizens. The city plans to increase public interest and strengthen communication through promotional materials, videos, and press releases related to the special city status.
Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong City, said, "The transition to special city status is an important step opening a new future for Hwaseong City," adding, "We will do our best to operate the website so that citizens can obtain accurate information about the special city status and participate together."
