Introduction of Tobacco Lawsuit, Income Settlement System, and More

The Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (Director Choi Deokgeun) announced on the 23rd that it had conducted promotional activities in conjunction with a local cultural event (2024 Cinema Concert) at the Busan Cinema Center on the 20th.

The 2024 Cinema Concert was held to commemorate the selection of Busan as the UNESCO Creative City of Film, and was attended by about 3,000 local residents.

The organization set up a promotional booth at the cultural event to promote key issues and systems of the Service through various events.

In particular, the Service promoted useful systems to citizens by linking them with its character, including explanations of current issues such as 'Proper Medical Use (Wise Choices)' and the 'Service Tobacco Lawsuit,' as well as guidance on the income adjustment system, national health checkups, and electronic notification applications.

Choi Deokgeun, Director of the Regional Headquarters, said, "By linking with local cultural events, the Service has become more familiar to local residents," and added, "We will continue to focus on publicizing the Service Tobacco Lawsuit, the introduction of special judicial police, and campaigns for proper medical use to protect the right to health of the people and take the lead in strengthening the financial soundness of health insurance."
