President Yoon gave this instruction during the morning senior secretaries' meeting, according to a written briefing by Presidential Office spokesperson Jeong Hye-jeon.
Earlier, record-breaking heavy rain fell for three days in the southern regions and elsewhere, causing over 1,500 people nationwide to evacuate and resulting in 170 cases of house flooding, among other damages.
