From October 11 for 3 weeks... At Uijeongbu City Youth Center
Total 3 sessions on 'Communication Design, Healing Design, Challenge Design' themes
Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 23rd that it will operate the "2024 Youth Life Design School" at the Uijeongbu Youth Center for three weeks starting October 11.
The Youth Life Design School was prepared to support young people going through difficult periods in their lives.
The program targets 150 young people aged 19 to 39 who live or are active in Uijeongbu City and will be held in three sessions under the themes of "Communication Design, Healing Design, and Challenge Design."
Specifically, the first session (October 11), Communication Design School, will be conducted by Professor Lee Dong-gwi of Yonsei University Psychology Department under the theme "Understanding Psychology and Effective Communication." The second session (October 18), Healing Design School, will be led by instructor Ra Young-hwan with the theme "Knowing How to Recover Without Breaking Down," and the third session (October 25), Challenge Design School, will be conducted by writer Ha Sang-wook under the theme "Motivation for an Autonomous Life."
Applications for participation can be made from the 27th via the program application section on the Uijeongbu Youth Center (Cheongnyeon Gonggamteo) website or through the QR code at the bottom of the promotional materials, with 50 participants accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for each session.
Jung Hwa-ja, head of the Youth Policy Division, said, "We will continue to support many young people and strive to make Uijeongbu City a place that provides various opportunities for youth."
