Jinju City Strengthens Cooperation with LH by Appointing 'LH Regional Cooperation Officer'

Hong Junpyo, LH Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters Specialist, Shares Know-how for Regional Development

Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 23rd that it has appointed Hong Junpyo, a senior advisor at the LH Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, as the 'Jinju City LH Regional Cooperation Officer' in the City Hall's Entrepreneurs' Room.

The LH Regional Cooperation Officer system is designed to strengthen collaboration and support regional development by dispatching cooperation officers to local governments that have regional development needs or require business cooperation with LH.

Hong, who was appointed as the cooperation officer this time, is an expert who joined Korea National Housing Corporation in 1995 and has held key positions at LH, including Director of Human Resources Management, Director of General Affairs and Customer Service, and Head of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters.

For the next year, Hong will support the development of Jinju City by facilitating cooperation with LH and sharing business know-how in the process of promoting various pending projects related to LH.

Mayor Jo Gyu-il said, "I sincerely thank you for willingly accepting the appointment as the regional cooperation officer for Jinju City," and added, "I ask for your active cooperation and the sharing of your extensive development project experience and know-how so that Jinju City can further leap forward as the central city of western Gyeongnam."

Meanwhile, Jinju City is promoting a variety of projects for regional development in cooperation with LH, including the creation of the Munsan Public Housing District, the establishment of the Gyeongnam Aviation National Industrial Complex, the construction of an Innovation City Complex Cultural Library, the regeneration of Sangpyeong Industrial Complex, and the urban regeneration of the Seongbuk District.
