Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, inspected the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the venue for the popular singer IU's concert, scheduled to be held over two days from the 21st to the 22nd, on the morning of the 20th.
Mayor Park Gang-su and Mapo District staff anticipated a large number of visitors to the IU concert venue each day, so they examined the event stage and other facilities, as well as the movement routes for the audience, and shared emergency response plans.
Mayor Park Gang-su stated, "We will remain vigilant at all times to ensure that the audience who came to enjoy the performance of the popular singer IU can complete their viewing safely and return home securely," and emphasized, "I hope that thorough inspections will be conducted not only inside and outside the venue but also in the parking lot and up to World Cup Stadium Station."
