Cheongryong Environment Donates 10 Million Won Scholarship to Geumcheon Mirae Scholarship Foundation

Cumulative Scholarship Donation of 30 Million Won from Last July and November through This Year

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that Cheongryong Environment (Co-CEOs Yoon Jeong-seop and Yoon Ho-jong) donated 10 million KRW in scholarships to the Geumcheon Future Scholarship Foundation to foster outstanding local talent.

Established in 1983, Cheongryong Environment is an environmental testing and analysis research institute that conducts tests and analyses on odors, waste, indoor air quality, and environmental impact assessments. It is a company certified by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS) based on state-of-the-art equipment and excellent technical personnel.

Cheongryong Environment has consistently practiced donations to the local community to promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management. Following a total donation of 20 million KRW to the Geumcheon Future Scholarship Foundation last year, they continue to show sustained interest in nurturing local talent by providing scholarships this year as well.

Yoon Jeong-seop, CEO of Cheongryong Environment, stated, “We hope the scholarship will help students who are marginalized and studying hard under difficult circumstances, such as North Korean defectors, and we will strive to achieve mutual growth between the company and society through the spread of Environmental, Social, and Governance management.”
