The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Association Meeting (Chairman Kang Jeong-il, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member) announced on the 20th that it held the 144th temporary association meeting and reviewed and approved the 2024 administrative audit plan (draft).
The administrative audit is scheduled to be conducted from October 29 to 31, and aims to thoroughly inspect all affairs promoted by the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority, continuously support excellent cases, and correct and improve any issues, thereby enhancing the efficiency and productivity of administration.

Chairman Kang Jeong-il said, “Although there are difficulties due to various economic issues such as increased exchange rate volatility and the slowdown of the U.S. economy, everyone should work together to do their best to achieve the projects and investment attraction goals planned at the beginning of the year.”
In addition, Seon Yang-gyu, Acting Head of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority, said, “We will make thorough preparations to ensure a substantial administrative audit and strive to resolve major issues and achieve investment attraction goals to achieve meaningful results.”
