A passenger car crashed into a hamburger restaurant in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, resulting in one death and five injuries.
According to the Gangbuk Police Station and fire authorities on the 20th, at around 10:32 a.m., a black Genesis G330 vehicle driven by a man in his 70s crashed into a hamburger restaurant in Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.
As a result of the accident, four pedestrians including the driver and one person inside the hamburger restaurant were injured. One of the pedestrians was in cardiac arrest and was transported to the hospital while receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but ultimately died. The driver was found not to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
A police official stated, "The driver is receiving treatment for a fractured nasal bone, so the investigation has not yet been conducted," and added, "We are currently investigating the detailed circumstances of the accident."
