'2024 Yangju Ten Million Celosia Festival' Highlight
Final 6 Teams Advancing to Finals to Compete Fiercely on Main Stage
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 20th that the final stage of the "1st Yangju National Busking Championship," held at the Nari Farm busking stage from the 6th to the 17th, was successfully concluded.
The "1st Yangju National Busking Championship" is one of the highlight events of the "2024 Yangju Ten Million Celosia Festival," Yangju City's representative autumn festival, which will be held at the end of next month.
In this final stage, 56 teams from various genres including vocal, dance, and band music delivered passionate performances to visitors at Nari Farm. Based on this, experts' judging and citizens' "online evaluation" will be conducted to select the final six teams to advance to the championship round.
The "online evaluation" allows anyone to participate by watching the final performance videos uploaded on the festival website and Yangju City's YouTube channel until the 23rd, and supporting their favorite teams by liking and leaving cheering comments.
The city stated that on the last day of the Celosia Festival, the 29th, at 6:30 PM, the final six teams will compete fiercely on the main stage of the festival site, and urged citizens to show great interest.
The final evaluation will determine the rankings by combining scores from experts and the audience evaluation team on-site. The audience evaluation team will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis for 60 people through the city website, festival website, and SNS until the 25th.
A city official said, "We thank the 56 performance teams who participated in the finals despite the hot weather and the citizens who watched the performances," and added, "We hope for much interest in the online evaluation and the recruitment of the audience evaluation team for a successful final event."
Meanwhile, from the 27th to the 29th, the "18th Yangju Arts Festival" and the "6th Ten Million Celosia Festival" will be held at Nari Farm, offering citizens a variety of performances, exhibitions, and diverse attractions and entertainment.
