Starbucks Surpasses 13 Million Reward Members, Launches Customer Appreciation Event

Additional Star Gifts for All Members Until the 26th

Starbucks Korea announced on the 20th that it will hold a customer appreciation event offering benefits such as additional stars to all members until the 26th to celebrate surpassing 13 million members of the 'Starbucks Rewards' program.

First, during the event period, all Starbucks Rewards members who purchase handcrafted beverages from 2 PM until store closing will receive additional stars according to the beverage size: 1 star for Tall size, 2 stars for Grande size, and 3 stars for Venti and Trenta sizes, multiplied by the number of beverages purchased.


During the same period, members who accumulate 3 stamps by purchasing Tall size or larger handcrafted beverages on separate receipts will receive a 1+1 handcrafted beverage coupon, and those who accumulate 5 stamps will receive an additional Tall size free beverage coupon. Coupons will be issued collectively to registered accounts on the 7th of next month. Additionally, new customers who join Starbucks Rewards during the event period will receive 5 extra stars credited collectively on the 7th of next month.


Launched in 2011, Starbucks Rewards surpassed 10 million cumulative members last year and reached 13 million members just 1 year and 8 months later. Kim Beom-su, Starbucks Marketing Manager, stated, "We will introduce a rewards program that prioritizes customer satisfaction based on abundant benefits and services."
