A train heading from Nowon Station to Chang-dong Station on Seoul Subway Line 4 has experienced a malfunction, causing delays in operation.
According to Seoul Metro on the 19th, at around 5:38 PM, the train entering Chang-dong Station stopped operating because the pantograph lowered and failed to receive power supply. The pantograph is a metal contact device that draws power from overhead wires installed above the tracks to the train.
Trains located near the affected section are reportedly stationary and unable to move.
A Seoul Metro official stated, "After halting the train operation, we are taking measures for the passengers."
