Slim Dosirak·Slo 2 in1 with Tumbler Main Award
Lock&Lock "Design Competitiveness Recognized Globally"
Lock&Lock announced on the 19th that it received awards for two products at the 2024 IDEA Design Awards (International Design Excellence Awards).
The IDEA Design Awards, hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America, is considered one of the world's top three design awards alongside Germany's Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award.
The awarded products this time were the ‘Slim Dosirak’ and the ‘Slo 2in1 With Tumbler,’ which received main awards in the Home category.
The Slim Dosirak features a small and slim design for easy portability, targeting office workers and students in their 20s and 30s. It attracted attention with four colors: ivory, black, brick orange, and deep green. The set includes two 440ml lunch boxes, providing ample capacity for one meal, and its excellent sealing prevents food or odors from leaking.
The Slo 2in1 With Tumbler combines a stainless steel tumbler and a reusable cup, offering high versatility and designed for easy portability considering outdoor activities. It can be used in three ways: ‘tumbler and reusable cup,’ ‘tumbler and sealed mug,’ and ‘stainless steel mug and lightweight tumbler.’
A Lock&Lock representative said, “We are very pleased that our design competitiveness has been globally recognized through this design award,” adding, “We will continue to repay consumers’ interest and support with designs and technologies that can lead the global household goods market.”
