In May, the association invited Hanjin President Cho Hyun-min as a speaker at the Global Fashion Forum to introduce the fashion brand overseas expansion support service ‘SWOOP’. Both parties agreed to cooperate for a successful debut in the global fashion market.

To this end, the association plans to discover promising fashion brands and strengthen overseas expansion support using the K-fashion showroom ‘LEDOME’ (LEDOME, Seoul). Hanjin will cooperate in domestic and international sales and marketing operations of brands housed in LEDOME through the overseas expansion support service SWOOP. Additionally, Hanjin’s fashion-tailored logistics service ‘Swooping’ will be used to support logistics transportation for overseas exhibitions and fairs organized or participated in by the association.
In fact, from the 22nd to the 24th, they plan to jointly support overseas expansion through K-fashion brand exhibitions and B2B consultations at COTERIE 2024, the largest women’s wear exhibition in New York, held at the Jacob Javits Center in the United States.
Seong Rae-eun, Chairman of the Korea Fashion Industry Association, said, “For the successful overseas expansion of K-fashion brands, which have recently received high attention in the global fashion market, cooperation with partner companies specializing in logistics, distribution, investment, and other fields is important. Through this agreement utilizing the strengths and resources of both parties’ specialized areas, we will unite efforts to support the growth of K-fashion.”
