Ulsan Office of Education Offers Safe Hands-On Training for Disaster Response Methods

Over 10,000 Fire-Resistant Masks Delivered to Ulsan Safety Experience Center

The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsoo) visited the Ulsan Safety Experience Center in Buk-gu (Director Jeong Jinseok) on the 19th and delivered 11,450 student safety education items worth approximately 30 million KRW.

The items delivered this time include 1,450 CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) human body model kits for use in CPR training for 5th grade elementary and 1st grade middle school students, as well as 10,000 flame-retardant masks for use in fire evacuation drills.

Ulsan Office of Education is delivering educational supplies to the Safety Experience Center and taking a commemorative photo.

The handover ceremony, held at the director's office of the Ulsan Safety Experience Center, was attended by Superintendent Cheon Changsoo, Director Jeong Jinseok of the Ulsan Safety Experience Center, and other related officials.

This support for safety education materials was prepared to help students develop the ability to effectively respond to disaster situations.

Since 2018, the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education has been promoting lifelong safety experience education. Every year, more than 20,000 students in the 5th grade of elementary school and the 1st grade of middle school experience various safety education programs such as fire safety, traffic safety, and daily life safety at the Ulsan Safety Experience Center.

Superintendent Cheon Changsoo said, "We will strengthen and support experience-based safety education so that students can effectively respond to disaster situations."
