Area Expansion After 9 Years
Transformed into Exclusive Space for High-Stakes Bettors
"Catching the Influx of Major Chinese and Japanese Clients"
Paradise Group announced on the 19th that it has established a VIP-exclusive gaming area at Paradise Casino Walkerhill in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
The VIP-exclusive gaming area was created through an expansion of the casino Walkerhill’s floor space for the first time in nine years. This is part of the Paradise Value-Up Project. The second floor, previously operated as a buffet restaurant at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, was newly renovated into a casino space dedicated to high rollers (high-stakes customers) with an area of 1,064㎡ (approximately 322 pyeong). The area has been expanded by 17% compared to before.
Opened in 1968, Paradise Casino Walkerhill plays a pivotal role in driving VIP revenue in the foreigner-only casino market. The new VIP gaming area is a membership space for the top 1% of elite customers, featuring an Art Deco style characterized by vintage design, geometric patterns, and vibrant colors. Additionally, it consists of seven private rooms, lounges, and a bar, providing customized high-end services and a premium gaming experience, according to the company.
With this expansion, the total area of Paradise Casino Walkerhill increased from 3,934.60㎡ (approximately 1,190 pyeong) to 4,587.26㎡ (approximately 1,387 pyeong). The number of gaming devices increased by 19, bringing the total to 112 table games and 213 machine games.

Paradise Group expects continuous revenue growth effects from the opening of the new VIP gaming area at Casino Walkerhill, projecting KRW 22 billion in 2025 and KRW 32 billion in 2026. Next month, they plan to open an international lounge at Gimpo Airport to accelerate VIP customer attraction.
A representative from Paradise Group said, "This expansion will be an important opportunity to secure overwhelming competitive advantage as an industry leader in hardware and high roller customer acquisition. Moving forward, we will upgrade VIP-exclusive facilities and service competitiveness across all business sites and transform into a smart casino applying new digital technologies to strengthen our position as a 'first mover.'"
Meanwhile, Paradise Group operates foreigner-only casinos in four locations: Seoul, Incheon, Busan, and Jeju. In 2017, they opened Paradise City in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, the first integrated resort in Northeast Asia.
