This year's marathon, scheduled for the 27th of next month at the Cheonan Sports Complex, will feature two courses: a 5km and a 10km half course. Both start at the Sports Complex's Oryunmun Square, pass through Seongseong Underpass, and return via Seonggeo Intersection.
Participants will receive various souvenirs, including a Lee Bongju Marathon commemorative T-shirt and a finisher's medal.
Han Namgyo, president of the Sports Council, said, "Thanks to the affection and interest from Lee Bongju and marathoners nationwide," adding, "We will do our utmost to prepare for the event in cooperation with relevant organizations so that all participants can enjoy the marathon safely."
