Gangnam-gu, Happy Job Fair... 80 Companies Including Coupang and Coway Participate

Gangnam-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will hold the "2024 Gangnam-gu Happy Job Fair" on the 25th of this month at Platz Hall on the 2nd floor of COEX. This fair will feature 80 companies including Woowa Brothers, Coupang, Hyundai Home Shopping, Hyundai Dream Tour, HDC Labs, Coway, Sesco, and Hecto Financial.

As a large-scale event, job seekers can meet various companies in one place, ranging from large corporations, mid-sized companies, small and medium enterprises, strong small businesses, to women-owned companies across diverse industries such as IT, software, food service, semiconductors, and healthcare. Companies will recruit a wide range of candidates including youth, middle-aged individuals, and women with career interruptions, allowing anyone who wishes to find employment regardless of age or gender to participate in the fair.

At the recruitment booths of the 80 companies, interviews and consultations will be conducted on the day of the event. By pre-registering through the "Gangnam-gu Happy Job Fair" website and bringing a resume and self-introduction letter on the day, attendees can have interviews and consultations at their preferred times.

During the recruitment briefing sessions, major companies such as Hanwha Group and Amazon will provide useful information to job seekers, including company introductions, hiring directions, and employment preparation tips. Employment education programs conducted by Team Sparta and YBM will offer counseling, and at the unique job experience center, attendees can obtain information and experience unique jobs such as AI drones and content creators.

In the special lectures, Lee So-young, Director of Microsoft Korea, and Han Myeong-su, CCO of Woowa Brothers, will serve as speakers. They will give lectures on the themes "The Era of Growing Alone is Over" and "Soft Thinking Methods Change Both Work and Life," respectively.

Side events include an all-in-one employment program offering personal color diagnosis, makeup, and resume photo shoots, as well as a job tarot and a prize event sponsored by YBM.

Meanwhile, for job seekers who cannot attend in person, an online recruitment center will be operated to continuously provide employment opportunities. For more details, please refer to the website or contact the operation office.

Mayor Jo Seong-myeong stated, "In these difficult times of high inflation and employment challenges, we have planned a substantial fair to enable mutual growth between job seekers and companies," and added, "I hope this fair will provide diverse employment opportunities for job seekers and be a valuable chance for companies to discover excellent talent."
