Through this MOU, Kakao Entertainment and the Incheon Tourism Organization will collaborate to develop the cultural and tourism industries of Incheon Metropolitan City by utilizing music events and content. First, from this year until 2026, they will work together to ensure the safe and successful hosting of the Melon Music Awards (MMA) held at the Incheon Inspire Arena.

Sangsang Platform is a space created by remodeling an old grain warehouse built in 1978 at Incheon Port into a complex cultural facility by the Incheon city government. It houses the media art exhibition hall "Museum L," the bakery and caf? with a sea view "Storage Incheon," the future education complex experience space "Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education AI Convergence Education Center," local workshops "Hanjisaenggakidak," and "Gallery GT," among others.

Jang Yoon-jung, CEO of Kakao Entertainment, stated, "Through this agreement, we will strive to develop the cultural tourism industry not only through the Melon Music Awards but also through various music-related performances and events."
