Recruiting 40 Families Until September 25, Participation Fee 60,000 KRW per Family for 1 Night 2 Days Camp
From Mudflat Experience to Family Sports Day, Recreation, and Camping for Proper Healing in Nature
Mapo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Gang-su) is recruiting participants for the "2024 Mapo-gu Family Love Camp" to celebrate the autumn season.
This camp, under the theme "Let's Go Camping with Mom and Dad in Autumn," will offer various programs designed for families to communicate and strengthen their bonds together in nature, away from the city.
The recruitment is for 40 families residing in Mapo-gu with children from 4th grade elementary to middle school. Each family can have two parents and two children participate.
Applications can be submitted online through the Mapo-gu website or the QR code on the poster by September 25, and applicants must include their motivation and story for participation.
Final participants will be selected through an electronic lottery on September 26 and notified individually as well as via the district office website. The participation fee is 60,000 KRW per family.
This Family Love Camp will be held for one night and two days from October 11 to 12 in Yeongheung-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon.
Participants will enjoy ecological and mudflat experiences in nature, escaping the busy city life to spend relaxing time with their families.
Various programs to enhance family bonds will also be prepared. Through activities such as family sports day and recreation, families will have time to cooperate, enjoy, and naturally communicate together. For more details, please contact the Mapo-gu website or the Education Policy Division.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "Autumn is the perfect season for families to spend time together. I hope this camp will be a valuable time to activate communication among families and create new memories in nature," and added, "We will continue to do our best to provide opportunities for youth to spend time with their families."
