This achievement is believed to be positively influenced by Superintendent Kim’s successful hosting of the Glocal Future Education Expo, the establishment of student education allowances, and efforts to reduce field-centered administrative burdens, which have resonated well with parents’ public opinion.

Kim Kwang-soo, the Superintendent of Education for Jeju, ranked second with a positive rating of 57.3%, up 6.7 percentage points, showing a 4.1 percentage point gap from first-place Kim Dae-jung.

Following them, Kim Ji-chul, Superintendent of Education for Chungnam, ranked third with 49.3%, Cheon Chang-soo, Superintendent of Education for Ulsan, fourth with 48.6%, Seo Geo-seok, Superintendent of Education for Jeonbuk, fifth with 46.9%, and Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Education for Gyeongnam, sixth with 46.7%.

This public opinion poll was conducted by Realmeter using an automated response method with random calls to both landlines and mobile phones from July 27 to 30 and August 27 to September 1, targeting 13,600 men and women aged 18 and older nationwide. The sampling error by metropolitan area is ±3.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and the response rate was 2.2%.
