"Not a Plea, Only One Private Meeting Held"
The representative of resident doctors directly criticized Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party, urging the launch of a consultative body involving the ruling party, opposition parties, medical professionals, and the government.
Park Dan, the emergency committee chairman of the Korean Intern Resident Association, stated on Facebook on the 18th, "Once again, I express regret toward Leader Han Dong-hoon and the People Power Party," revealing that Leader Han, who has emphasized 'dialogue,' has continuously refused meetings.

He pointed at Leader Han, saying, "Even in early June before running for party leader, and at the end of July right after being elected, Leader Han, who stressed the importance of dialogue in the media, consistently refused meetings," and added, "Far from pleading, after only one private meeting, the Korean Intern Resident Association has not communicated with Leader Han."
Chairman Park shared an interview article of Jeong Gwang-jae, the People Power Party spokesperson, who stated that "Leader Han Dong-hoon and Chairman Park Dan are in communication," and criticized, "Trust cannot be built on lies and fabrication."
Previously, on the 13th, spokesperson Jeong appeared on CBS Radio and claimed, "(The People Power Party side) has been continuously communicating with Chairman Park through unofficial channels," and "Leader Han has been requesting to return to the negotiation table almost at a pleading level, but it has not been easy for him to come back."
On the same day, Leader Han Dong-hoon posted on Facebook, saying, "There is no solution other than dialogue," and "Everyone must strive to find a solution." He added, "During the Chuseok holiday, I have been meeting individually with various medical professionals to hear their positions and asking them to participate in the consultative body involving the ruling party, opposition parties, medical professionals, and the government," and stated, "If the current medical situation is left as it is, it will not be resolved over time and will become more difficult."
Regarding this, spokesperson Jeong explained in a Facebook post on the same day, "I said that I understand communication is taking place through unofficial channels," and "It was confirmed that communication was made through actual doctors." He continued, "I understand that no substantial response was received from Chairman Park," and said, "It is disappointing to hear that there was 'no communication at all,' but I apologize for any misunderstanding that may have occurred."
