Daejeon City to Host Job Festival at DCC on 26th... Merck and Sung Sim Dang Among Participants

Over 300 Companies and Public Institutions Participate

Daejeon City will hold the "2024 Daejeon Job Festival" on the 26th at Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center.

Daejeon City announced that it will hold the '2024 Daejeon Job Festival' at the Daejeon Convention Center Exhibition Hall 2 on the 26th.

The event will feature participation from over 300 companies and organizations, including global company Merck from Germany, Sung Sim Dang, Daejeon Shinsegae Co., as well as D-Unicorn companies, small but strong enterprises, and public institutions affiliated with research institutes.

There will be a 'Company Recruitment Hall' where on-site interviews and consultations are held, a 'Career Talk!' session with HR managers from youth-attracting companies (Cheongkkeul Companies), recruitment briefings from leading local companies such as Gyeryong Construction and KT&G, and a 'Job Consulting Hall' where job seekers can receive one-on-one consultations from professional counselors from nine universities, including Chungnam National University and Hanbat National University.

Job seekers wishing to find employment can participate in on-site interviews on the day of the event by bringing their resume, ID, and self-introduction letter, or they can pre-register online through the Job Festival website.

Kwon Kyungmin, Director of Economic Affairs at Daejeon City, said, "This event is meaningful in that it introduces local companies to job seekers and provides companies with opportunities to match with talent," and added, "We will continue to strengthen job creation programs so that companies and job seekers can grow together."
