Jeong Cheong-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, posted a photo of his injured finger, saying, "Due to the medical crisis, it is almost a state of anarchy; I will protect my own body."
On the night of the 15th, Jeong posted on his Facebook, "While removing arrowroot vines with a sickle in the mountains, the sickle bounced and cut my left thumb."
He said, "The sickle even pierced through my glove, so I was startled thinking it was a serious injury, but fortunately, it was only about a 1 cm tear, not severe enough to go to the hospital emergency room." He added, "I disinfected it with hydrogen peroxide, applied ointment, and wrapped it tightly with a bandage. It aches, but it is bearable."
Jeong said, "With the medical crisis and the near-anarchy situation, I have to protect myself from even getting a stomachache; I have no choice but to take care of my own health," targeting the government, and urged, "Have a healthy Chuseok without getting sick or injured."
