Possible to observe the full moon on a night after a shower
Morning lows 22~27°C, daytime highs 29~34°C
On Tuesday the 17th, which is also Chuseok, showers are expected in most parts of the country, but the showers will gradually stop from night, allowing the full moon to be seen through the clouds.
Showers are forecast from dawn in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region, and from morning through the night in most other parts of the country.
Expected rainfall from the showers is 5 to 30 mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk; 5 to 40 mm in Jeonbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island; and 5 to 60 mm in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
In areas experiencing showers, there may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning. In Jeolla region and inland Gyeongnam, heavy showers of 20 to 30 mm per hour are expected, and in other areas, strong showers around 20 mm per hour may occur, so caution is needed to prevent safety accidents.

Across the country, with occasional clouds, the highest apparent temperatures will rise to 33 to 35 degrees Celsius (above 35 degrees in some western areas), making it very hot, especially in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, southern regions, and Jeju Island.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
