Donald Trump, the former U.S. president and Republican presidential candidate, was once again exposed to an assassination attempt on the 15th (local time), prompting messages of concern from around the world.

On the 16th (local time), UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, while visiting Italy, told reporters that he was "very worried" about the assassination attempt on former President Trump and stated, "Violence has no role whatsoever in the political process."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posted on X (formerly Twitter), "I am glad to hear that Trump is safe," and added, "It is fortunate that the assassination attempt suspect was quickly arrested." He continued, "The rule of law is paramount, and political violence has no place anywhere in the world," and sincerely wished, "I hope everyone stays safe."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also expressed shock on X over the assassination attempt on former President Trump, saying, "I hope all measures are taken to prevent any fatal attacks on a U.S. presidential candidate in advance."

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese expressed concern in front of reporters, saying, "We all want democratic processes to proceed peacefully and orderly."

Viktor Orb?n, Prime Minister of Hungary and a longtime supporter of former President Trump, wrote on X, "It is clear that the president's life is at risk until Trump wins," and encouraged, "Mr. President, we are praying for you."

Former President Trump was exposed to an assassination attempt while playing golf at his own Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on the afternoon of the previous day. Thanks to Secret Service agents who spotted the suspect armed with an AK-47 type rifle outside the golf course in advance, he avoided being shot.

Trump and his party were unharmed, but the FBI has classified the incident as an attempted assassination. The suspect, a 58-year-old Ukrainian supporter from Hawaii, was arrested while fleeing on a highway and is under investigation for the motive behind the crime.

This marks the second time in just over two months that former President Trump has escaped an assassination attempt, following a shooting that injured his ear during an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.
