Lee Hyun-jae, Mayor of Hanam City, visited the transfer station located in Changwoo-dong at 5:40 a.m. on the 16th to express his gratitude to the employees working on site. On that day, Mayor Lee visited the transfer station located in Changwoo-dong at 5:40 a.m. and expressed his gratitude to the employees working on site. He also delivered snacks and had breakfast with them while listening to their difficulties.
The city conducted full or half shifts with about 100 employees and environmental public workers during the holiday period, except for Chuseok day on the 17th.
Mayor Lee then visited Haetsal Hospital, Hanam EM365 Clinic, a midnight children's hospital, and 365 Good Doctor Clinic in succession to listen to the difficulties faced during emergency medical care over the Chuseok holiday and nighttime, and to encourage medical workers for their hard work.
He also checked the operation status of holiday duty pharmacies such as Gamillo Pharmacy, Bareunmaeum Pharmacy, and Hanuri Pharmacy, which can respond quickly to emergency situations.
On the 16th, Lee Hyun-jae, the mayor of Hanam City, visited a pharmacy to listen to difficulties and encourage their efforts. Furthermore, he visited the 'Municipal Haetsal Children's Center,' a Whenever Children's Center located in Misa-dong, participated in childcare, and urged, "Please strive to reduce the burden of parenting with a customized care service that can be trusted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and help make Hanam City a better place to raise children."
Hanam City is operating a comprehensive countermeasure situation room 24 hours a day with 109 members in 8 teams, including the Safety Countermeasure Team, Resource Circulation Countermeasure Team, and Emergency Medical Care Countermeasure Team, to ensure citizens' safety and resolve inconveniences during the Chuseok holiday from the 14th to the 18th.
On the 16th, Lee Hyun-jae, Mayor of Hanam City, visited the 'Municipal Sunshine Daycare Center,' located in Misa-dong, to participate in childcare and encourage the staff. In addition, ahead of Chuseok, the city supported 7,561 people, including basic livelihood security recipients and national merit recipients, with Onnuri gift certificates worth 50,000 KRW for traditional markets, and provided disaster relief funds totaling 360 million KRW, 3 million KRW per household, to 122 households of flood-damaged residents and small business owners affected by the heavy rain in July.
Mayor Lee said, "Hanam City has established comprehensive measures in various fields such as safety, medical care, transportation, and economy to ensure that all citizens can spend the Chuseok holiday richly and safely, and we have done our best in each area. I thank the related organizations and medical workers who worked together without neglecting even small matters with the belief that citizens' safety is the top priority."
