Guro-gu Mayor Mun Heon-il Promises Improved Welfare for Guro-gu Office Employees

Guro-gu Holds Meeting with Guro-gu Office Public Officials Labor Union

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) held a meeting with the Guro-gu Office Public Officials Labor Union on the 13th of this month at the Renaissance Hall of the district office.

At the meeting, they shared the review results of the proposals suggested by the public officials' union and had a time of communication.

The district discussed various proposals with the labor union to improve organizational culture, including ▲enhancement of employee welfare ▲reduction of disqualification reasons for awards and working period for new public officials ▲improvement of working environment, reviewing whether to accept each proposal and the direction of improvements.

Moon Heon-il, Mayor of Guro-gu, stated, “Employees must be happy for residents to be happy, and public services will also improve,” adding, “We will continue to strive to build a sound labor-management relationship through active communication and cooperation, and work hard to enhance public services.”

The district operates a regular communication channel called the ‘Free Pass Interview’ with the labor union to promote a healthy labor-management culture. Additionally, on the 9th, as a result of establishing a cooperative labor-management culture, Guro-gu was the only autonomous district in Seoul selected as an ‘Excellent Administrative Institution for Public Officials’ Labor-Management Culture in 2024’ by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
