Goheung Lifelong Education Center Prepares Surprise Event for Chuseok

Visit to Yeomyeong Daycare Center... Volunteer Performance for Seniors

Goheung Lifelong Education Center announced on the 13th that it visited Yeomyeong Daycare Center and carried out a performance volunteer activity together with 20 members of the Onnuri Volunteer Group in celebration of Chuseok.

This volunteer activity was conducted to share culture and arts with the elderly in the local community ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

In particular, volunteers with various talents acquired at the Goheung Lifelong Education Center took the stage and presented a variety of performances including harmonica, pansori, saxophone, and nanta, bringing joy to the audience.

Director Byeon Yoon-seop said, “Chuseok is a meaningful time for family and neighbors to come together,” and added, “Through this Onnuri Volunteer Group performance volunteer activity, we hope that lonely neighbors do not feel isolated and spend the holiday with a rich heart.”
