Dongducheon City held an emergency council meeting on the 12th in preparation for the Chuseok holiday. Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 13th that it held a meeting of the Dongducheon Emergency Medical Council on the 12th to strengthen the response system for emergency medical situations during the Chuseok holiday.
The Emergency Medical Council meeting was held under the auspices of the Dongducheon Public Health Center, with the attendance of Mayor Park Hyeong-deok, officials from Dongducheon Fire Station, and Dongducheon Jungang Seongmo Hospital.
The main agenda items discussed included △establishing an emergency medical system in preparation for the Chuseok holiday △sharing emergency patient situations within the region and maintaining a cooperative system △establishing and organizing an emergency contact system among related organizations.
After the meeting, Mayor Park personally visited the emergency room of Dongducheon Jungang Seongmo Hospital, the only one operating in Dongducheon City, to inspect the current status of emergency room operations, pending issues, and the response to emergency patient transport.
Mayor Park Hyeong-deok said, "I am grateful to the institutions that always strive and actively cooperate for the life and health of citizens even during the Chuseok holiday," and added, "I ask for close cooperation and continuous communication among the Emergency Medical Council in the future as well."
