122 Flooded Households and Small Business Owners... 17 Agricultural Damage Cases to Receive Payments After Chuseok
Gyeonggi Hanam City announced on the 13th that it has provided disaster relief funds of 3 million KRW per household to 122 households, including residents of flooded homes and small business owners affected by the heavy rains in July, ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
The Lineage M ‘VANGUARD’ disaster relief funds were made available to 98 households confirmed as eligible for support through the National Disaster Management System (NDMS) after damage assessments, as well as 24 small business households. With national and provincial subsidies granted in early September, the payments could be made before the Chuseok holiday.
The city plans to promptly provide disaster relief funds to 17 agricultural damage households, whose payments were delayed due to the late allocation of national and provincial subsidies, immediately after Chuseok.
Mayor Lee Hyun-jae said, “We hope that residents of flooded homes and small business owners affected by the heavy rains can quickly complete their recovery with the disaster relief funds provided before the Chuseok holiday,” adding, “Hanam City will do its best to ensure that disaster relief funds are provided as soon as possible to households affected by agricultural damage.”
