Emart announced that from 9 PM on the 13th until the 19th, pre-orders for Apple's new products, including the iPhone 16 series and Apple Watch 10 series, will be available at 77 nationwide Ace Store locations.

Emart is offering exclusive discount benefits for pre-order customers. First, during the pre-order period at Emart, when paying with promotional cards, customers can purchase an official Apple case (worth 69,000 KRW) for only 100 KRW if bought together. The promotional cards include Emart e, Samsung, KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Hyundai, Lotte, and IBK Corporate cards.

Additionally, among the promotional cards, KB cards (excluding KB Kookmin BC cards) offer an extra 50,000 KRW discount on purchases over 1.5 million KRW.

Emart and Hyundai Card also provide the 'Home Appliance Save' benefit. Home Appliance Save is a program where the discounted amount is paid upfront, and later repaid monthly through 'Save Points' accumulated based on card usage. Using the Home Appliance Save offered on the Emart Hyundai e-Card (Edition 2), customers can receive up to 500,000 KRW in advance plus an additional discount of up to 200,000 KRW. The additional discount applies as 100,000 KRW for purchases over 1 million KRW and 200,000 KRW for purchases over 2 million KRW.

After paying with the Hyundai e-Card (Edition 2), customers can join Home Appliance Save via the Hyundai Card app and present the issued coupon to use the advance Save Points. For purchases over 1 million KRW, 300,000 KRW worth of Save Points are granted, and for purchases over 2 million KRW, 500,000 KRW worth of Save Points are given. Used Save Points can later be repaid with points accumulated from using the Emart Hyundai e-Card (Edition 2). Detailed information is available in the Hyundai Card app.

For example, using the Emart Hyundai e-Card (Edition 2) Home Appliance Save, an iPhone 128GB model priced at 1.25 million KRW can be purchased for 850,000 KRW after applying 300,000 KRW in Save Points and an additional 100,000 KRW discount.

Apple Watch pre-order benefits are also available. Until the 19th, customers purchasing any Apple Watch 10 series or Apple Watch Ultra 2 products with promotional cards can receive a 5% discount.

Emart is offering discounts on Apple’s new products because sales at Ace Stores within Emart have been steadily increasing. According to Emart’s survey of Apple-related sales in the second quarter of this year, Apple sales increased by approximately 43% compared to the previous year. Sales of AppleCare, Apple’s product maintenance service, rose by about 26%, and around 40,000 units of iPads and Macs were sold from January to August.

Emart analyzes that this is due to growing customer demand to experience products directly in stores. Since electronic devices are expensive, customers prefer to carefully purchase after seeing the actual product in-store. The provision of interest-free installments for up to 24 months on purchases over 1.2 million KRW at Ace Stores also contributed to this trend.

Park Sun-ho, Emart’s Apple buyer, said, "To promptly meet customer expectations with the launch of Apple’s new products, we have prepared various benefits through pre-orders," adding, "Going forward, Emart Ace Store will continue to establish itself as an official Apple reseller store that fulfills customers’ experiential needs."
