Shin Young-hee, the judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, conducted a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant substantive examination) for BJ Park, who was indicted for violating the Narcotics Control Act, and issued an arrest warrant citing concerns that he might flee.

Park is a BJ on AfreecaTV with over 480,000 subscribers and is accused of receiving narcotics such as ketamine from Kim Mo (33), a former gangster turned YouTuber, last year and using them multiple times with acquaintances at his home and other locations.

The police identified circumstances indicating that Park also used drugs during the investigation of Kim's drug case and continued their investigation.

Following recent reports related to drugs, Park explained, "I confessed 1 year and 6 months ago and visited the police station. Since then, I have been cooperating sincerely with the police investigation."

Meanwhile, the police have detected signs of drug use among about 20 other AfreecaTV BJs and employees of their affiliated entertainment companies, and have registered them as suspects and are investigating.
