Promoting Rice Consumption... 'Garaetteok' Sharing Event Also Held
The Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation (Head Lee Jeong-moon) announced on the 12th that it promoted the farmland bank projects, including this year's new project 'Farmland Transfer Retirement Payment Project,' to visitors returning to their hometowns and local farmers ahead of the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

According to the corporation, on that day, they visited busy locations such as Jeonju Station and Jeonju Intercity Bus Terminal to introduce the farmland bank projects. They then carried out the 'Mom and Dad's Sunshine' campaign, distributing garaetteok made from Korean rice to promote a healthy rice consumption culture.
Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Headquarters has been continuing rice consumption promotion events by distributing breakfast to office workers on their way to work and students on their way to school, as well as providing rice-based food products to underprivileged groups.
Head Lee Jeong-moon said, "We will strive to increase awareness of the farmland bank projects, the corporation's representative brand, through tailored promotion and project support, and deliver hope to many farmers," adding, "I hope everyone has a bountiful Hangawi celebrating Chuseok with their families during this harvest holiday."
