Lotte Sonhae Insurance Alice Launches Hospitalization Expense Insurance

Lotte Insurance launched the 'FOR ME Non-Dividend Hospitalization Insurance (Mini Care Plan)' on the lifestyle-oriented insurance platform 'ALICE' on the 12th.

The FOR ME Hospitalization Insurance is a small-amount short-term insurance (mini insurance) with the slogan "No care inheritance, my care is mine." Customers aged 19 to 49 can subscribe regardless of gender after a simple screening process.

This product reduces the insurance premium burden while increasing options for product structure. It is segmented into a 'Standard Plan,' which sets the subscription amount at a reasonable level to greatly reduce the burden, and a 'Premium Plan,' which offers relatively higher coverage, satisfying various preferences. Customers can choose whether to include single-room hospitalization coverage, as well as the maturity age (80 or 90 years) and payment period (10, 20, or 30 years). All coverages are non-renewable, so the premium remains the same until maturity.

The premium for a 45-year-old male under the Premium Plan including single-room hospitalization (maturity at 80 years, 30 years monthly payment) is 18,699 KRW per month. This premium includes coverage such as ▲ 300,000 KRW for single-room hospitalization at a tertiary general hospital ▲ 150,000 KRW for hospitalization with caregiver use (excluding nursing hospitals) ▲ 70,000 KRW for hospitalization under integrated nursing and caregiving services ▲ 300,000 KRW for injury ICU hospitalization ▲ 100,000 KRW for illness ICU hospitalization.

The Standard Plan including single-room hospitalization (maturity at 80 years, 30 years monthly payment) is available for a 45-year-old male at a premium of 12,916 KRW per month. This premium includes coverage such as ▲ 100,000 KRW for single-room hospitalization at a tertiary general hospital ▲ 120,000 KRW for hospitalization with caregiver use (excluding nursing hospitals) ▲ 40,000 KRW for hospitalization under integrated nursing and caregiving services ▲ 150,000 KRW for injury ICU hospitalization ▲ 50,000 KRW for illness ICU hospitalization.

Lotte Insurance plans to additionally introduce new insurance services such as overseas long-term stay insurance and military personnel insurance on ALICE within this year.
