From the entrance of the park, the flea market offered a variety of charming items such as kids' goods, toys, and fashion accessories for visitors to enjoy.

The play experience zone, equipped with air bounce, a mini train, and a Viking ride, became a joyful playground for children, while the cultural performance zone delighted visitors with accordion performances and magic shows.

Visitors who came out for a family outing on the weekend enjoyed a pleasant time participating in various side events held in the park.

The most popular spot at the park event was the experience booths, featuring 32 different activities. The booths offered a wealth of enjoyable programs, ranging from free activities such as horseshoe experiences and robot experiences to paid events like AI drawing and wood burning crafts.

The integrated health promotion project booth by Gangseo-gu Office also attracted many visitors.

To celebrate the inauguration of the Busan Gangseo-gu Mayor’s Cup, a drum performance parade and a cheerleading performance by a children's team were held in relay, raising the excitement of the event to its peak.

A new event using jockey cap colors to cheer for the races also received a positive response. Many people participated in the stakes race quiz event and the "guess the winning horse" event, both offering generous prizes.

On this day, around 7,000 spectators gathered at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam to cheer for the Busan Gangseo-gu Mayor’s Cup Stakes. The inaugural Gangseo-gu Mayor’s Cup (Listed, Korean-bred 2-year-olds, 1,200m, 200 million KRW in prize money), held as the 6th race, saw Winner Clear (owner: Lee Jonghun, trainer: Baek Kwangyeol) and jockey Jin Gyeom claim victory and become the first champions.

The newly established Gangseo-gu Mayor’s Cup is sponsored by the Busan Gangseo-gu Office to promote the development of the horse industry as well as culture, sports, and tourism. The winning horse and its connections are awarded a winner’s cup in the name of the Busan Gangseo-gu Mayor.

This race, the first leg of the Juvenile Series to select the best 2-year-old, featured nine rookie racehorses who debuted on the track this year, competing fiercely.

The winning horse, Winner Clear, started smoothly and quickly amid overwhelming popularity. Winner Clear took the lead from the beginning and never allowed a single reversal until the end. Entering the home stretch, it showed an even more impressive spurt, winning by a margin of 10 lengths over the runner-up. The second race of the Juvenile Series will continue with the Gimhae Mayor’s Cup on October 20.
